Yovko Lambrev Photography

From me

This site is not my only presence on the web. Only the virtual projection of my photographic role is performed here. As one of the first Bulgarians on the Internet, I have had my own personal website since 1997 (yes, that was in the last century), which in 2003 began to be called yovko in a nutshell and resembled a blog. There I write about technology, literature, photography, friends, wine, good food and beautiful women. Sometimes I write about myself, trying not to show it. But they often misunderstand me… Which I pretend doesn't bother me much…

Here - at simplestudio.org I write articles on photography, share my modest experience through video presentations or otherwise, retell interesting news that impressed me, organize competitions, courses, workshops, workshops and… tell how technology can be part of the contemporary visual arts or at least make life easier for the artist… And sometimes I practice as an artist - and show my photos…

If you want to follow both of my sites through a common channel, use this RSS feed. You are welcome and I hope you are comfortable around! Comments are overwhelmed.

The others for me

If you read what Yovko wrote once, you will definitely come back a second time. The reason is simple - it will either impress you with its clear position or irritate you severely. Read on - whether you like it or not, Yovko is a citizen in the true sense of the word .... Capital Light, issue 26, July 2006, www.capital.bg Super site. Keep going! I regularly give yovko.net as an example of a good blog in the online media course I lead. I recently quoted him in Foreign Policy magazine, where I started running the Internet section .... ENGLISH yovko.net - perhaps the most read personal blog in our country. It belongs to Yovko Lambrev. Perfect starting point for other interesting Bulgarian - and not only - blogs .... HiComm magazine, issue 42, November 2004, www.hicomm.bg

About me

I took my first pictures at about six. With my parents' camera, which did not outlive my enthusiasm. From then until today, photography has remained deeply and incurably my second nature and unquenchable passion.
